Logan King's 14 kills and four blocks helped lead No. 4 Florida volleyball's sweep of South Carolina (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) on Friday, as the Gators notched their 20th win of the season and seventh in a row.
Alec Rothe and Kamryn Chaney added 12 kills apiece for Florida (20-2, 11-1 SEC), and Rothe posted a game-high .579 hitting percentage. Bella Lee led UF with 10 digs, while Taylor Parks distributed 37 assists to go along with nine digs and three kills.
The Gators battled to finish off the sweep, as the third set featured 10 ties and five lead changes. A late 4-0 run provided the Gators a cushion at match point, and a block from King and Amaya Thomas closed the door on the Gamecocks (9-13, 2-10 SEC).
With the win, the Gators have an opportunity to clinch a share of the SEC title on Sunday vs. Georgia.

Quotes from the Court
Head Coach Ryan Theis
…on Logan King's performance
"She was doing a lot. Not a lot of right sides play all six and pass. She's one of the few in the country. She had a couple of pass-to-hits that were really impressive, inside-to-out foot patterns. She went inside and out, just a really good game by her. … She ended with a stuff block, too. She's just doing it all for us."
Third-Year Logan King
…on tonight's focus
"We worked really hard in practice at being more efficient into kills. We really wanted to focus on that, whether that's hitting high hands or knowing when to use off-shots when we're not in a good position."
