HEAR FROM THE GATORS:
On what she's going to take away from tonight's game going into the weekend…
"I think we just have to learn from our performance today. Yes, we got the job done, but we know we can do so much better. We just need to keep putting the work in during practice and come in hot this weekend." – senior Jocelyn Erickson
On what was working for her at the plate…
"I was just trying to get some hits for my team. I was thinking 'attack' and trying to get any momentum going for my team, especially when Taylor would get on right before me.'" – senior Jocelyn Erickson
On Keagan coming in to close out the game…
"I know Keagan can get the job done. I trust in our defense and I trust Keagan 1000%, so it was the right choice. We are a staff and we work together. No matter if it's a strike, an out, or a couple of innings, we work together so well that we know whoever is going in behind us has our back." – junior Olivia Miller
On what she was thinking when getting out of the bases-loaded jam in the sixth...
"I was thinking about sticking to my pitches, sticking to what I'm good at and trusting in my defense. I already knew that if something were to happen, my offense would have had my back." – junior Olivia Miller
UP NEXT:
The Gators travel to Fayetteville for a three-game series at No. 10/9 Arkansas from March 27-29.
