No. 3/5 Softball Travels To Arkansas For Top-10 Showdown

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - It'll be a top-10 showdown in Fayetteville as the No. 3/5 Gators (32-2, 8-1 SEC) travel to the Natural State for a three-game Southeastern Conference series at No. 10/9 Arkansas (28-4, 3-3 SEC).
The series opener is set for Friday night at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with games two and three to follow on Saturday (8 p.m. ET) and Sunday (2 p.m. ET) on SEC Network+ from Bogle Park.
Fans can also listen to all three games on FloridaGators.com (Friday/Sunday) and 98.1 FM / 850 AM WRUF (Saturday) with Ryan Urquhart and Sky LeBron on the radio call.
The Gators are looking for their second straight top-10 SEC series win and fourth conference series win of the season.

Notables:
- The Gators are looking for their first series win over Arkansas since the 2019 season when Florida took 2-of-3 from the Razorbacks in Gainesville
- The Gators' last series win in Fayetteville was a 3-0 sweep in 2017
- Florida's last win over Arkansas was a nine-inning 10-7 victory in Gainesville in 2025, when Korbe Otis hit a walk-off grand slam in game that lasted almost four hours
- The Gators hit two grand slams in that series, one from Otis and the other from Reagan Walsh
- Jocelyn Erickson is just three RBIs shy of 200 in her Gator career. She would be just the sixth Gator to reach the milestone and first since Reagan Walsh in 2025. Assistant coach Francesca Enea (2007-2010) is one of the five Gators with 200 or more RBIs in their career, finishing with 221
- Olivia Miller has not allowed a run in her last 15 innings pitched. She earned her first career SEC victory against No. 1 Tennessee on March 21, throwing 4.1 scoreless innings, allowing just a pair of hits with two strikeouts
- Miller has pitched 12.2 innings in SEC play, a single-season career high. She has not allowed a run in conference play
- Taylor Shumaker, the reigning SEC Player of the Week, is on a team and career-long 16 game hitting streak. She's had multi-hit performances in six of Florida's nine conference games and leads the team with a .484 average in SEC play
- She has also reached base in 22 straight games
- Shumaker leads the NCAA in runs scored (53) and ranks third in hits (58) and fourth in total bases (108). Keagan Rothrock leads the nation in victories (17) and Erickson ranks fifth in RBIs (52) and sixth in home runs (16)
- Erickson was a home run shy of the cycle against Stetson, going 3-for-3, including recording Florida's first triple of the season, and driving in two runs
- The Gators have not committed an error in seven straight games and in 51 straight innings
- In SEC play, the Gators have committed just one error overall, holding a .996 fielding percentage
- Florida leads the nation in doubles (71) and ranks top-5 in hits (361), home runs (71), walks (167), runs (307), pitching shutouts (12), slugging percentage (.693), RBIs (295) and on-base percentage (.484)
