Gators Volleyball Ranked No. 17 in AVCA/TARAFLEX Preseason Top 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Florida volleyball will open the season ranked No. 17 in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Preseason Top-25 poll, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Monday afternoon.
The 2026 season marks the 36th consecutive year that the Gators have been featured in the preseason poll, while also marking the seventh preseason top-25 appearance for head coach Ryan Theis during his head coaching career.
Eight opponents on the 2026 schedule are also present in the top 25, including No. 3 Kentucky and No. 22 Tennessee, whom the Gators will meet in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. The Orange & Blue will also match up with No. 1 Nebraska, No. 2 Texas, No. 6 Wisconsin, No. 8 Texas A&M, No. 14 Minnesota and No. 21 Baylor. In-state rivals Miami and Florida State are also receiving votes.
