NORMAN, Okla. – No. 8 Florida volleyball is set to open Southeastern Conference play on Sunday, Sept. 27, when they travel to Norman, Okla., for a showdown with the Sooners at 3 p.m. ET.
Sunday's match will stream live on SEC Network+ with Chad McKee and Kelly Files on the call. The Gators enter the contest on a seven-match winning streak, most recently defeating Jacksonville to close the nonconference portion of the schedule, 3-0.

- The Gators have been dominant historically in SEC openers, boasting a 39-3 all-time record in conference-opening matches.
- Sunday marks the second time in program history that the Gators open SEC play against the Sooners, previously defeating Oklahoma, 3-2, on Sept. 26, 2024.
- Logan King tallied a career-high seven blocks to go along with seven digs against Florida State, helping hold FSU to its lowest hitting percentage of the season en route to winning SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. - Oklahoma enters Sunday's matchup with a 7-2 record and winners of four straight. The Sooners most recently defeated East Tennessee State, 3-2.

- Offensively, Alaleh Tolliver paces OU, leading the team in points (130.5), kills (113) and kills per set (3.32). Avaya Maga directs the offense with 406 assists and 11.60 per set.
