The Gators swept top honors in every event Friday, led by sophomore double-winner
Chrissy Van Fleet of Orlando. Van Fleet claimed her second all-around title of the season with a meet total of 39.175 plus took her first vault title of the season with a season-best 9.90. Another double winner for the Gators Friday was freshman
Betsy Hamm of Waukesha, Wis. She used collegiate-best marks of 9.90 to win the evening's final two events -- balance beam and floor exercise. Her floor performance was her collegiate premiere and her score of 9.90 stands as the Freshman
Gabby Fuchs posted her collegiate-best uneven bars mark of 9.875 to win that event title. Fuchs is the 1996 British Championships' bars champion.
