Trinity Thomas used two nearly-perfect 9.975s to take the uneven bars and floor exercise wins. She claimed her fourth overall and third consecutive all-around win at 39.675. Senior All-American
Alicia Boren was runner-up in the all-around at 39.60. She equaled her season best of 9.925 to take her second vault win of 2019. Georgia's Sabrina Vega anchored with a 9.95 to take the beam win. Junior All-American
Amelia Hundley, who matched her collegiate best of 9.925 to share second with UGA freshman Rachel Baumann, led Florida on beam.
SEC Award for the Thomas:
After her fourth all-around win,
Thomas claimed her third SEC Gymnast of the Week honor.
Thomas has been honored each of the last seven weeks, as she is a four-time SEC Freshman of the Week honoree. After the UF-UGA dual, Thomas has three all-around totals among the nation's top 16 for 2019 (39.70 – twice; 39.675 – Feb. 22).
About the Arkansas Razorbacks:
Arkansas is the sixth 2019 Florida opponent who advanced to the 2018 NCAA Championships' in St. Louis, Mo. The Razorbacks took 10
th in 2018 NCAA semifinal competition.
Arkansas is looking for its first SEC win Friday when its closes 2019 league action versus Florida. The Razorbacks turned in a season-high 196.375 last Friday in its home loss to No. 5 LSU (197.125). Friday's meet versus No. 3 UF is the fifth consecutive meet versus a top-12 team for the Razorbacks.
Junior Jessica Yamzon's competed as an all-arounder in every meet this season, posting a season best 39.25 versus Georgia.
