No. 8 Florida Prepared for Bubly Invitational

Head Coach Tim Walton holds 899 career NCAA Division I victories and should he earn his 900th this weekend he'll become the second fastest head coach to reach the milestone.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 8 Florida enters the Bubly Invitational with an undefeated record of 35-0 against this year's field of opponents. The invitational opens with SE Louisiana and North Dakota State at 9 a.m., while UF will close the first day with games against North Dakota State at 4:30 and Longwood at 7 p.m.

The Gators (5-1) enter the weekend with two home games already under their belt. The program opened the homestand with an exhibition against the world's No.1-ranked Team USA and in-state foe UNF. UF gave the U.S. Olympic squad game as the team rallied late in the game before it eventually conceded a 5-3 result, while the team bounced back with a 10-2 (5) against UNF the following night.

The stretch of home games continues this weekend with six games over the next three days. UF will take on North Dakota State and Longwood twice, then will cap the weekend a game a piece against SE Louisiana and Florida A&M.

All UF games will be broadcast on WGGG (92.1 FM/1230 AM) & WMOP (100.1 FM/900 AM) with Kyle Crooks & Ryan Urquhart on the call Friday, then Urquhart will be joined by Mike Ridaught for the four remaining games Saturday and Sunday.
