The Catonsville, Md. native has played 2448:25 minutes over four years at Delaware
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators lacrosse team has signed transfer goalkeeper Steph Marszal from Delaware, the program announced on Sunday afternoon.
Marszal, who will be a graduate student, spent the past four years at Delaware, playing in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Marszal made 45 appearances for the Blue Hens, making 43 starts, playing 2448:25 minutes, making 305 saves, having a career save percentage of .430, 51 ground balls and a career record 28-15.
In 2024, Marszal, a native of Catonsville, Md., made her first career appearances when she started in 12 of 13 games and made 93 saves, finished with a .489 save percentage, the second highest in the CAA and was named to the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Marszal has had back-to-back seasons with 106 saves in 2025 and 2026, and in '26 posted a 13-5 record with an 8.50 GAA, 106 saves, and a .409 save percentage. She ranked 14th nationally in goals against average with 8.50 and posted three games with 10 saves and seven games with at least a .500 save percentage. Marszal ended 2026 with a nod to the 2026 ASUN All-Tournament team.
Before Delaware, Marszal was a three-year starter on varsity lacrosse and soccer teams at Glenelg Country School and was an Under Armour Lacrosse 150 selectee and Nike Lacrosse 120 selectee.
Marszal joins midfielder Susan Lowther, goalkeeper Alexa Lang, and midfielder Angie Conley as transfers joining the Gators for the 2026-2027 season, and an incoming recruiting class made up of nine players.
