Samantha Mannix joined Florida's coaching staff in the summer of 2023 under former head coach Roland Thornqvist and associate head coach Jeremy Bayon. Mannix remained a key part of UF's coaching staff following Thornqvist's retirement in the fall of 2024 and remained the Gators' assistant coach during the transition to head coach Per Nilsson.
While at UF, Mannix has guided several ranked doubles pairings, including the 2024 Final Four duo of Alicia Dudeney and Rachel Gailis. Mannix also mentored the top-25 pairing of Alicia Dudeney and Bente Spee, who posted an SEC record of 9-2 during the spring of 2025.
Mannix spent her collegiate career at the University of Iowa, where she played for the Hawkeyes from 2018-2022. During her time in Iowa, she played court one, two, and three singles, finishing with an overall record of 62-58 (.517). She also has experience in doubles play with an overall record of 60-51 (.540). Mannix earned the following recognitions: All-Big Ten, Academic All-District, ITA Scholar-Athlete, and Academic All-Big Ten.
