No. 16 Florida Ties In Battle With No. 10 Maryland

Two goals by Florida's Adrianne Moreira in the final seven minutes of regulation led to a 3-3 2OT tie with No. 10 Maryland.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. ‑ The No. 16 Florida (3-2-1, 1-1) soccer team tied No. 10 Maryland 3-3 in an emotional, double overtime match Friday under the lights at Percy Beard Stadium in front of a crowd of 1,983.

The Terrapins pulled out to an early 1-0 lead at the 21:29 point off a penalty kick netted by Robin McCullough.  The first half ended with the Terps ahead 1-0. Florida freshman forward Andi Sellers tied the score at 1-1 at the 62:35 point in the second half on a 20-yard shot into an empty goal. Just over four minutes later, she scored her second goal off a diving header to tie the score at 3-all.
