GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The teams at No. 2 and No. T-3 in the current
Southeastern Conference soccer standings meet Sunday in Nashville. Vanderbilt stands second with 13 points off its 4-0-1 league record while Florida is a point behind with a 4-1 record. Match time is set for 1 p.m. ET at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex and admission is free.

This is the first meeting between the two teams since the 2015 season. That year, UF and VU met twice, with the Gators taking come-from-behind, one-goal road wins in each match.

In Thursday's league play, two first-half goals in a span of 26 seconds gave Florida a 2-1 win over Missouri.
Parker Roberts put in the ball at 12:10 after
Gabby Seiler's move down the endline. UF won the ball quickly after play resumed, with Seiler sending ball to
Deanne Rose above the box. Rose's square ball above the box found
Mayra Pelayo making a right side run. Pelayo took a couple of touches before sending a right-footed curler that scored at the far corner at 12:36.

The 26-second span ties for the eighth narrowest span between goals in UF history and the first under 30 seconds since the 2008 season. The Tigers narrowed the lead with Madison Lewis' 25-yard free kick in the 57
th minute.

Florida at 400 Wins:
Florida's Oct. 5 result marked the 400
th win for the UF program, as Florida is one of five NCAA Division I programs to amass 400 wins since the 1995 season (Gator soccer's first year).

Becky Burleigh has led UF since Day 1. She and North Carolina's Anson Dorrance are the only two coaches with 400 NCAA DI wins since 1995.

Vanderbilt is off to its best conference start in over 10 years. UF and VU have faced two common opponents – Georgia (UF & VU wins) and Missouri (UF & VU wins). Vanderbilt is coming off Thursday's 2-0 road win at Kentucky.
