Gators Aim for Third SEC Road Victory Sunday at Alabama

Sunday's game is Florida's third SEC contest in seven days.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Florida caps its hectic three-game week with a trip to Tuscaloosa, where the Gators play Alabama on Sun., February 12 at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT.
 
The Tide have returned to play all home games this year at Coleman Coliseum.
 
The game will be televised live on SEC Network with Roy Philpott and Brooke Weisbrod.
 
Sunday's game will be the Gators' 18th on the road this season, including its sixth in Southeastern Conference action.
 
No Place for the Weak this Week
  • Florida plays three SEC games in seven days this week.
  • The Gators opened the seven-day span with a home loss to Ole Miss on Monday, Feb. 6.
  • The team then defeated Arkansas on Thursday.
  • Sunday's game at Alabama wraps the hectic league run!

  • Ronni Williams - the lone four-year senior on the roster - led UF in scoring as a sophomore and junior and is doing so again this season.
  • In addition to leading the Gators in scoring with 18.9 points per game (20.0 ppg in SEC games), Williams also leads the squad in rebounding (7.8 pg) and free throw percentage (76.0%) and is second for assists (58) and field goal percentage (54.6%).
  • With her 43-point, 14-rebound effort against Vanderbilt (Jan. 29), she became the first SEC player to drop 40 and 10 since in a game since the 2003 season!
  • Williams became the 24th Gator to score 1,000 career points, doing so on Dec. 3 vs. Long Beach State.
  • She became the 15th Gator to collect 700 career rebounds, eclipsing the mark on January 5 at LSU.
