Last Meeting
The two teams met in Gainesville in 2016 for a match that moved up two hours to avoid weather as Hurricane Matthew approached the state of Florida.

Meggie Dougherty Howard scored the only goal of the opening half in the 43

In Florida's last outing, Florida handed Alabama its second shutout of the season with a 3-0 win. All the Gator scoring came in the second half, with freshman
Deanna Rose providing the first and final goals. Her goal in the 50th minute was her fourth consecutive in an eight-day span. Less than a minute and a half later,
Mayra Pelayo scored when her ball from endline deflected off a Tide defender. Rose finished the scoring in the 76th minute with a give-and-go with
Laís Araujo.

It was Rose's second double goal match of the last three contests. She leads the Gators in goals (6) and points (13). Her three goals in league play shares the SEC lead.

About the Bulldogs:
Florida will be Georgia's third top-25 opponent of 2017. Then No. 8 Clemson defeated Georgia 2-0 on Sept. 3 and UGA lost 4-1 at then No. 20 Mississippi on Sept. 21. Georgia is coming off a 2-1 home loss to Vanderbilt last Sunday.
