It's another Sundae Sunday! After the game, enjoy a complementary ice cream sundae bar in the atrium, while supplies last.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida is in the midst of a four-game stretch that features three home games. On Sunday, the Gators welcome LSU to Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center where tipoff is scheduled for 1:02 p.m.

The game will be televised live on SEC Network, with Courtney Lyle and Tamika Catchings calling the action.

So Close!
  • The Gators have lost four straight games, including each of the last three by single digits. In that fourth game, Florida actually held a 15-point first-half lead.
  • Overall this season, the Gators have played eight games decided by 10 points or less (3-5 record overall, 0-3 SEC)

Gators vs. Tigers: The Series
  • 41-game series: UF trails 14-27 (Home: 8-12; Away: 5-14; Neutral: 1-1)
  • Streak: LSU won last year's meeting in Baton Rouge, 78-67
  • Florida has won two of the last three games against LSU, which has won three of the last five in the series, as well as 17 of the last 24 against the Gators.

Common Opponents
  • Florida and LSU did not share a common non-conference opponent this year.
  • Both teams have played Alabama during the early portion of the SEC schedule and the Tide earned wins in both outings, downing UF by 9 points and the Tigers by 14.

Familiar Faces on the Tiger Sideline
  • Veteran Mickie DeMoss, who on Thursday was named a candidate for the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, joined the LSU coaching staff last season. DeMoss was the third head coach in Gator history, leading Florida to a 45-68 record from 1979-83.
  • Charlene Thomas-Swinson is in her third year on the LSU sideline. Thomas-Swinson was an assistant coach at UF under Carolyn Peck from 2002-05.

"Chuck it from the Cheap Seats!"
  • The Gators are listening to Coach Cam Newbauer's approach to shooting and has told every member of the team to "chuck it from the cheap seats!" (Coach is a HUGE movie guy and the quote is from "Hoosiers")
  • The Gators reset the program record for threes in a game twice already. The new standard stands at 17 after the Nov. 23 performance against Savannah State.
  • The team canned 15 three-pointers vs. Richmond (11/21/17) to first break the program record for threes in a game, which was 13 at Arkansas, Feb. 1, 2009.
  • Four of the top five single-game records for threes have come under Cam.

Gators for THREEEEEE!
  • Entering Sunday's game, the Gators are averaging 9.6 three-pointers per game and converting at a 33.9 percent clip.
  • Thru games played Jan. 11, UF ranks tied-No. 11 in the country in threes per game; and tied-No. 7 in total three-pointers made (163).
  • Florida has converted double-digit threes in NINE games this year, most recently 10 vs. Kentucky (Jan. 11).
  • It took just six games for TEN of the 11 players on the scholarship roster to hit at least one trey this season.
