HIGH POINT, N.C. – The 16th-ranked Florida Gators close out their four-game road stretch with a contest at High Point on Saturday.
Opening draw is set for 2 p.m. at Vert Stadium. This is only the second time this season that the Gators will be facing an unranked opponent in the 2019 campaign.

The Gators are coming off at 15-5 win at Elon, while High Point defeated Marquette, 20-9, on March 3.
This is the third meeting between the between the two squads, with Florida holding the 2-0 series advantage. The last time these two teams faced off was in the 2014 season, where the Gators came out victorious, 18-7, in Gainesville, Fla.
While Florida has a break in facing IWLCA Top-25 opponents this week, the team has competed against four thus far in the 2019 campaign and will face four more ranked teams before entering conference play. The Gators will play host to No. 4 Syracuse, No. 3 North Carolina and No. 9 Princeton in a seven-day span and then will travel to No. 18 Stony Brook.

Scouting the Panthers
The Panthers are 3-2 thus far in the 2019 campaign, with their only two losses coming to then-No. 2 North Carolina and then-No. 7 James Madison. This is the third meeting between Florida and High Point, with the Gators holding the 2-0 series advantage. High Point is led on the offensive front by Ashley Britton, who has recorded 17 goals on the year. Abby Hormes, Samantha Herman and Kaely Kyle have each added 11 as well. Ashley Britton, Abby Hormes and Meredith Chapman control the draw circle, with 18, 15 and 13 wins, respectively. Sarah Zeto serves as the main goalkeeper for the Panthers. She has collected 33 saves over the course of five games and holds a .446 saves percentage.
