NASHVILLE, TN.– Florida will travel to Nashville on Sunday afternoon for their first away contest of 2024. The Gators will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores, marking their second game of SEC play. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and will be streamed on SECN+.
Florida currently holds a 9-4, (0-1 SEC) record and Vanderbilt is nearly undefeated with a 14-1 (1-0) record. The Commodores' only loss of the season was against the third-ranked NC State Wolfpack on Nov. 29, falling 70-62.

Vanderbilt currently holds the all-time series over Florida 33- 28. The two teams have played a recorded 61 times, dating back to 1978.
HISTORY:
Florida has defeated Vanderbilt in their last two meetings, putting the Gators on a two-game win streak against the Commodores. The Gators most recent time out against Vanderbilt was in January of 2022, where the Gators won by a margin of 18 with four players in double figures for scoring.
FLORIDA'S LAST GAME:
Florida is coming off a tough loss against South Carolina, being edged 89-66 to the No. 1 team in the country. The Gators opened conference play at home against the Gamecocks Thursday evening and fought to the end, outscoring South Carolina in the second and fourth quarters.

ABOUT VANDERBILT:
Vanderbilt is coming off a 71-66 win against Mississippi State Thursday night and was led by Iyana Moore on offense with 29 points. Defensively, Jordyn Oliver led Vanderbilt on the boards with nine rebounds.
Throughout the 2023-24 season, Vanderbilt has been led in scoring by Jordyn Cambridge (14.3 ppg), and Sacha Washington (14.2 ppg). Iyana Moore is the only other player averaging double figures for the Commodores with 10.6. In rebounding, Vanderbilt has leaned heavily on Sacha Washington with 123 for the season and an 8.2 average per game.
