Why UF?

After coming to the University of Florida to audition for the BFA dance program, I really admired the school’s commitment towards academics and the arts. I always wanted to go to a large university with great scholastics and sports, and after visiting the school, I knew it was right for me. Being a Dazzler, I look forward to fully immersing myself in the gator spirit!

One thing Gator Nation doesn't know about you is...

My full name is Anna-Katherine Elizabeth Taglauer Risalvato. I was named after my Aunt Annie, Aunt Katherine Ann, Aunt Elizabeth and Grandma Elizabeth!

What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?

Creating an environment of joy, positivity and hard work is so important to me and something that I strive to bring to the table each and every day. It is crucial to pour energy into my teammates to create this uplifiting environment as I know I can count on them to reciprocate this attitude. I feel so blessed to be able to be on a team with girls that share the same goals and priorities as each other, as we all want what is best for the betterment and future of this team. The culture that we all continue to make is one of kindness, trust, accountability, and grace, which all helps us to be better versions of ourselves.
