Why UF?

I chose to attend the University of Florida because I wanted to attend a large state school with an outstanding combination of academics and athletics. Because UF is a top public university with prestigious academic programs, I was immediately drawn to it. Additionally, the Dazzlers Dance Team played a crucial role in my decision to come to UF. I became highly interested in the Dazzlers my senior year of high school as I learned about the amazing team, coaches, and associated opportunities. I knew that this team would be an excellent space for me to continue evolving in dance with a group of girls that shared my passion. Being a Pennsylvania native, the warm climate here in Florida was very inviting. As I visited UF for the first time, I envisioned myself as a student walking around the beautiful campus. Now that my dreams of being a Florida Gator have come true, I am eager to enhance my skills both as a student and a dancer!

One thing Gator Nation doesn't know about you is...

I am from a town called Mars! We have a space ship and aliens in our town center, and our high school mascot is the Fightin’ Planets!

What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?

The legacy I hope to leave for future Dazzlers is a team culture that is both uplifting and purposeful. The foundation of this team is built upon our love for each other and the Florida Gators, along with our passion for dance. As Dazzlers, we are always working towards the goals we’ve made for our team, and I try my best everyday to support my teammates throughout this process, just as they support me. I am honored to have the ability to enhance school spirit for both students and alumni of the University of Florida through games, events, and appearances. I also take pride in being a part of this group of dancers that is going to take the Dazzlers to new heights. I hope that future Dazzlers are proud of the love and energy we have poured into this team, and that it inspires them to build upon what we have created. I am confident that we have a very bright future, and I am excited to put the work in with the girls I love most in order to reach it!
