No. 6 Gators Continue Big 12 Play Out West Against San Diego State

San Diego, Calif. – The No. 6/7 Florida Lacrosse team (10-2, 2-0) continues Big 12 play against San Diego State (2-10, 0-2) on Saturday.

The Gators enter this game off a 14-8 win over USF, which saw Frannie Hahn score 7 points (2 G/5 A) and Clark Hamilton score six points (5 G/1 A). Susan Radebaugh made a career high 12 saves on her way to her third win of the season.

Scouting the Aztecs
SDSU enters this game off a 18-8 loss at UC Davis. The Aztecs were led by Tatum Neach, four goals, and Lilah Turley, three goals.

On offense, the Aztecs are left by the trio of Mia Maechtel, Keira Doyle-Odenbach, and Tate Stokesberry. Maechtel leads the team in points (34) and shots (64), as Doyle-Odenbach is the Aztecs' goal leader (27) and Stokesberry is the assists leader (14).

In cage, SDSU turns to Caitlin Boughton, who has started all 12 games this season, playing 615:58 minutes and making 87 saves.

SDSU enters this game on a three game losing skid, during which they haven't scored more than 8 goals and haven't held an opponent to under 14 goals.

SDSU is led by Kylee White, who is in her 15th season of coaching, all with the Aztecs. During her tenure, the Aztecs recorded three straight season of at least 10 wins from 2017-2019.

Clark Hamilton joined to 100 goal club against USF, becoming to 20th to do so and tied for the fastest to do in (35 Games). Some more upcoming milestones include: Gabbi Koury new career high in points (2 points away), Boo DeWitt new career high in points (7 points away), and Head Coach Amanda O'Learty is two wins away from becoming third on the all-time DI Women's Lacrosse win list.

The Gators' save percentage has also seen in increase during the seven game win streak. After being at .450 after the first five games of the season, the save percentage has jumped to .554 during this win streak and propelling the Gators to 7th in the NCAA in save percentage.
